Sébastien arrives in Morgarten as a fugitive, carrying hidden secrets with two of his colleagues, and Magda’s romantic feelings are thrown into turmoil. When a monk is murdered at a nearby abbey during the theft of a precious religious relic, Walter and Magda set about to solve the mystery, before a mighty battle with the Habsburgs ensues.
