There are very few writers who have ever written the sheer volume of epic (though not always in word count) tales, with a seemingly limitless stream of vibrant worlds, unique characters, and twisting-turning storylines that have kept thousands on the edges of their collective seats for a career spanning seven decades. But Ray Bradbury, the legend, did just that. In this volume, we have gathered six of his classic stories, each one as unique as the last. It begins with the story of a man named Barton, struggling with crippling loneliness after being stranded on Mars for fifty long years. A couple of stories later, we find ourselves on a planet that is so brutal, the inhabitants only live 8 days, and Sim will risk everything to try to get to “The Ship.” And Morgue Ship is perhaps the most unique story, about a space coroner on the ship Constellation, whose job is to collect the dead from space battles. That is only a taste of three of the six stories you will find. What the other three are about, well, you’ll just have to find out for yourself! (But they are pretty awesome!)
