Some spirits wait to be seen. Others demand to be feared. The year is 1984. Sally Cooper arrives in town with nothing but a suitcase and her dying son. Desperate to start fresh, she takes a job at the Crowford Hoy pub, clinging to the hope that this quaint seaside town might finally bring peace. But tragedy strikes before she even has a chance to unpack her dreams – and soon, Sally is left with only one impossible wish: to see her son one last time. Months pass. The pub’s regulars talk of ghosts, of strange sightings and cold whispers in the night, but Tommy never appears. Just when Sally is ready to give up, a friend suggests something unthinkable – what if the spirits are waiting for her to reach out first? What begins as a quiet ritual soon unravels into something far darker. The shadows in the Crowford Hoy are older and more dangerous than Sally imagined.
