A novella exploring the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, this addictive story offers a mix of comedy, conspiracy and Chicagoans that provides listeners a fresh perspective on a long-held belief. “I love history! And, being a former Girl Scout who sang the camp song about ‘Old Lady O’Leary’ as a little girl, I wondered often if the story was made up or real,” the artistpreneur confesses. “Now that I’ve lived in Chicago for almost a decade, I seriously have doubts about that story. My book for this month shares some of the things I think more likely caused the fire that torched Chicago for two days straight in October 148 years ago.”
