Rick Walker, an armed forces exploration engineer under the Armitage Corporation, travels to an array of amazing worlds for research and military purposes. His job entails many dangers, and he has been involved in many harsh battles during his service, but nothing would prepare him for what was to come next. Upon visiting Sable during one of his missions, a barren wasteland world covered in thick sand and desert rock, he stumbles upon an entire army of the disgusting Grameen. These creatures go on to invade and terrorize the planet Scimitar. Under attack, Rick and the rest of Phoenix-Three must act fast to help their allies of Scimitar and prevent the total destruction of their world. There is, however, much more than meets the eye and Rick, and his colleagues soon find themselves spiraling into a long tunnel of turmoil and treachery.
