In this heartfelt and heart-pounding, serial killer thriller, a sleepy coastal community is shaken awake when a baby is found swimming alone in the ocean at dawn. By happenstance the local Chief of Police Wade Davis becomes in charge of the lost child’s temporary placement with DSS. Wade’s wife Grace, a former social worker and force to be reckoned with, visits the police station while the baby is in her husband’s care. Grace forms a nearly instant kinship with the baby that compels her to foster her. She is also drawn to the baby because she is haunted by the loss of a child she fostered in the past. A few days after the Davis family takes the baby in, the little girl’s parents’ bodies are discovered shored on a small island. Wade becomes the lead investigator of the couple’s murders, unknowing that with each day that passes with the baby under his roof he and his family are becoming more and more a part of the case he is trying to solve. Swim, Baby explores the depths one family will go to protect the ones they love.
