Williams. “Craig’s Chair” introduces you to our slow-witted hero of the Deep South. Craig gets more than he bargains for when he brings home an abandoned leather chair he found on the side of the road. He enjoys its warmth and comfort until he’s pulled into nightmares depicting brutal murders—nightmares in which he becomes the murderer. In “Craig’s Creature,” Craig and his put-upon wife, Lorna, are forced to move in with Craig’s dad, aka Mr. Father. Their worries are far from over when the hateful recluse warns them about the menacing monster in the woods—the one who’s coming closer each night. The third book in the series is “Craig’s Demon.” Craig’s cousin, Maddie, is living in fear of the demon that inhabits an upstairs bedroom, a destructive beast who was recently her nine-year-old son. Craig and Lorna’s silly, supernatural misadventures will leave you trembling in terror and howling with laughter.
