First Person Narrative When Logan sees Colette at the ceremonial conference, he can barely take his eyes off of her. He knows that he’s supposed to treat her like an enemy. He works as a personal assistant for one presidential candidate, and she for another. And today is the D-Day: either his boss will win, or hers. However, all Logan can think of when he sees Colette in that sexy sparkly black dress is that he wants her out of it, and in his arms. And even though he knows she sees him as a total douchebag , he’s pretty certain she thinks he’s hot, too. What could he possibly do, though? She might keep throwing glances his way while chatting to a reporter and acting all professional–and looking more irresistible with every second passing – but even looking at her the way he’s doing right now could get him in trouble. More than trouble: he could lose his job, and all the years of hard work would go to waste. And yet…they might be enemies for a lifetime, but on this day, when nothing they do could possibly change the outcome of the vote, perhaps they can allow themselves to be something else? Perhaps they can dare and give in to the desire?
