He was the son of Henry James Sr. and the brother of renowned philosopher and psychologist William James and diarist Alice James. Bram (Abraham) Stoker (1847-1912) was an Irish novelist. Dracula was to become his best-known work, based on European folklore and stories of vampires. Although most famous for writing Dracula, Stoker wrote eighteen books before he died in 1912 at the age of sixty-four.
