An ancient creature lives in the Arizona desert. A man-eating beast of legend, it feeds on all who dare to venture into its domain. Eddie Marquez is an infamous criminal looking to start a new life with his girlfriend, hoping the Western sun will scorch away the sins of his past. He has one last drug deal to make before he can put it all behind him. But four disgruntled cops refuse to let him walk free, setting out to take the law into their own hands. Two tribal police officers are escorts to a civilian researcher looking for evidence of a lost civilization. Until the car crash. Now they are stranded in the desert, and a storm is coming. Tonight, all their paths will converge. If they don’t work together, no one will make it out alive.
