On the day after the election, however, Neely suddenly faces more than just prejudice. Her boyfriend, a noted oceanographer, is found drowned in a tank of rare jellyfish. Now grief-stricken and shaken, Neely must find his murderer while navigating the pitfalls of her new command. As fear and opposition tighten their grip on Neely, she knows her life is in grave danger, but courage is all she can rely on.
