Jack and the Beanstalk is a classic fairy tale about a poor boy named Jack who trades his family’s cow for magical beans. When planted, the beans grow into a giant beanstalk that reaches the clouds. Jack climbs the beanstalk and discovers a castle belonging to a fearsome giant. Inside, Jack finds treasures, including a magical harp and a hen that lays golden eggs. Using his wit and bravery, Jack retrieves these treasures and escapes the giant’s clutches. After cutting down the beanstalk, Jack and his mother live happily ever after, no longer poor. The story highlights themes of courage, resourcefulness, and the triumph of good over greed.
