Ausgerechnet am Tag, als Inspector Chopra das Museum in Mumbai besucht, geschieht jedoch das Undenkbare: Die Krone von Königin Victoria mitsamt dem berühmten Koh-I-Noor-Diamanten wird gestohlen. Der Juwelenraub sorgt sofort für eine aufgeheizte politische Stimmung. Inspector Chopra weiß, dass der Diamant so schnell wie möglich gefunden werden muss und begibt sich zusammen mit seinem Schützling, Jungelefant Ganesha, auf Spurensuche.
