Holy smokes - the name alone should indicate how low they will sink and how out of touch they really are. Next, Susie dispels some myths about good old-fashioned corsets, which will have you cheering and rushing out to buy one. A Collectorsweekly.com article says that many of the supposed dangers of wearing corsets don't exist. Corsets don't pinch your waistline to an unhealthy 13 inches, and they also don't distort the organs and liver. And it wasn't men demanding that women lace up; no, women in the Victorian era actually liked them and the "hourglass" silhouette they provided. Sexy stuff! Then, it's this week's mailbag.
