In the heart of an Atlantic superstorm, the Tahila fights to stay afloat. Amid the chaos, the ship’s collision-avoidance system blares a warning. Radar shows no ship. No signal. No lights. Just a strange silhouette beneath the waves. A searchlight is focussed into the raging sea and the crew spot something impossible: the slanted roof of a house with glass windows and solid walls… adrift in the open ocean more than a thousand miles from land.
