GROUNDWORK: 2ND EDITION ______________________________ An engineering corporation is conducting an archaeological dig in Ancient Maya territory. They believe that the key to humanity’s future can be found in our past. Their findings have led to the top-secret creation of a spaceship that will take them far beyond the Milky Way Galaxy. During the dig, archeologist John Strongham discovers a long hidden transport device that snatched him from Earth and deposited his body on an alien planet: Farsocc. John’s captors have been monitoring humanity for the whole of our existence and have been keeping a close watch on him. They know about the spaceship and will facilitate our interstellar exploration. But their main objective is to create a new planet of humans. John will become the founder father of this colony, and his orientation will decree a spectacular jump in human evolution. More planets will be established, giving humanity some room to breathe. It was thought that this may be the trick of cooperation among earthlings. In the depths of space, a merciless race of beings will discover this new colony and seek to destroy it—and any that follow.
