Bill finds himself working for the Hornets to pay off his recent debts, and save his daughters from harm. When they find out that he had attempted to kill Will, his family is against him, and he is alone. Will, Bill, and Lisa have to hide away before the Hornets find them. Evelyn is bent on making the Hornets pay for their evil deeds, but Big Tom goes missing just after an arrest warrant is issued for him. Evelyn meets the dangerous Timeon and cool and calm Adrian, who has an even scarier aura. Adrian tails her to the warehouse where her family is hiding out, and together, he and Timeon ambush them. Evelyn: I am angry when I find out that my father is doing a deal for the Hornets again, and even more furious when I find out what his deal with the Hornets is. I find a way to hand over the evidence I have gathered from staying around the Hornets, and make sure an arrest warrant is issued for Big Tom. I am terrified when I get a visit from two men who claim to be Oliver’s elder brothers. I am even more terrified when I discover that I am supposed to be some sort of price for a bet my father was involved in years ago. I try to hide my boyfriend, my sister, and my unchangeable father. Will: Bill is working for the Hornets again, and I am the price this time. He explains his dilemma and in as much as he was foolish enough to believe the Hornets’ promise, we have to accommodate him as family. I feel angry that I cannot help in my weak state. Evelyn confides in me about the latest trouble in town; Oliver’s elder brothers. I find a strange fellow snooping around Evelyn’s car, and when she finds out, she insists on taking us somewhere safe. Lisa leads us to a friend’s house where we are ambushed by the lanky fellow, and another mean-looking one I think is Timeon. I manage to escape and find the sheriff coming to our rescue.
