World powers were at a loss for a cure, but managed to keep isolated outbreaks from becoming a global pandemic. Until New Year’s Day of the year 2020. Just after midnight, the immuno-degenerative and epidermal decomposition virus (strain 2) exploded worldwide, subsuming humanity in a tsunami of blood and terror. Ryan Maxwell, and his family were fortunate enough to have the means to fully prepare for a possible doomsday and were able to ride out the initial chaotic months in relative comfort. Now, however, it’s time to search for family and friends whose status is unknown. Family and friends were important before the end came, but how many will be still be alive after Z?
